HUSH: They Can Hear Gear List: Non-Weapon Gear, What It's For, and How to Get It

What non-weapon gear exists in HUSH: They can hear, what it's for, and how to get it — loot houses, shops, the hospital and the army camp, or trade your haul at the only shop left.

Quick answer

Non-weapon gear in HUSH: They can hear comes in two groups: visibility gear (flashlight and night vision goggles) and looted consumables (bandages, food and drink, energy bars). You get gear by looting houses, shops, the hospital and the army camp, or by selling your haul at the only shop left.

  • Flashlight toggles with F and night vision with N on the standard on-foot controls.
  • The hospital, helipad and old town hold the best supplies.
  • Get caught and you lose everything you carried.

HUSH: They can hear is a Roblox stealth game where the monsters hunt by sound, so its non-weapon gear isn't about armor — it's about seeing in the dark, staying healthy, and getting your haul out alive. Here is the confirmed gear, what each item is for, and the two ways to get it.

The non-weapon gear list

Explore the options

Visibility

Flashlight

Toggles with F on foot. One of the two visibility items worth grabbing, though night vision goggles are the stronger visibility pick.

Visibility

Night vision goggles

The recommended visibility pickup — better visibility in the dark, ahead of flashlights.

Consumable

Bandage

The loot pickup you want when your health is dropping. Stock up when you find them — you can run out at exactly the wrong moment.

Consumable

Food and drink

Looting turns up plenty you can eat and drink. Grab drinks when you see them — it's easy to end a run without one.

Consumable

Energy bar

Shows up as loot and is worth grabbing on sight alongside the other food.

For the controls side of that list: the standard on-foot bindings are F for the flashlight and N for night vision. The flashlight and night vision guide covers getting the most out of both, and every key binding is on the controls page.

How to get gear

There are two routes: loot it, or trade for it.

Loot it. Sneak in, loot, and get out before they hear you — that's the loop, and equipment is one of its payoffs. Houses, shops, the hospital and the army camp are the places to loot, and the hospital, helipad and old town hold the best supplies. Looting yields more than gear, too: a supply crate at the helicopter extraction can hold items beyond gear — one held a weapon, shotgun ammo, a silencer and a revolver. The loot items guide covers what to grab, and best loot locations breaks the routes down.

Trade your haul at the only shop left. Selling is the second route: your haul buys guns, gear, gold guns and diamonds at the only shop left. Gear is its own class in that trade — a second way to get non-weapon equipment — but which specific gear items the shop stocks isn't known, so treat specific pickups as whatever your run actually drops. The shop guide covers the shop itself, and the shop location page covers the selling side.

Checklist

  • Hit the high-supply spots first

The hospital, helipad and old town hold the best supplies, with houses, shops and the army camp also on the loot list.

  • Grab the gear you spot

Night vision goggles are the stronger visibility pick, with the flashlight as the alternative — and bandages, food, drink and energy bars are worth collecting as you go.

  • Stay quiet while you do it

The monsters hunt by sound, so sneak in, loot, and get out before they hear you.

  • Get inside before the doors shut

Get caught and you lose everything you carried — including the haul you were saving to trade.

  • Sell your haul at the only shop left

Sold loot converts into guns, gear, gold guns and diamonds.
